Meetings

The General Meetings are held the second TUESDAY of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the clubhouse, unless otherwise noted. All club members are welcome. If the Anne Arundel County school system is closed due to inclement weather, then the regular club meeting will be canceled.

Evening meetings are held every 4th Monday at 7pm at the clubhouse, unless otherwise noted.

Club News

The Woman’s Club of Linthicum Heights, Inc. awarded $17,500 in scholarships to six students this year. The students were both capable and appreciative. Our Board members enjoyed hearing about their plans for the future, as well as their words of appreciation, at the June Board meeting. The 2026 Scholarship Recipients were: DANTE HUDSON, North County High School KIRA BABST, Archbishop Spaulding High School GIANNA COSENTINO, North County High School ROXY STEPHENSON, North County High School LIVIA BEHEGAN, North County High School ZAHRIA VANRIEL, North County High School

We participated in the 36th Annual Linthicum Fair and Parade on Saturday, September 27th from 10-3 at St. John's Field on Maple Road Linthicum Heights, Maryland. At our booth, we sold hotdogs, soda, water, juice, and chips. The theme this year is Honoring Linthicum Heros. Proceeds from the fair benefit HOPE For All and NCEON, North County Emergency Outreach Network. Non-perishable food items were collected at the fair also to go to those nonprofit organizations.

On September 22nd, 2025 Jeannette lead the Evening Group in pumpkin decorating- we had a great time!

Opening Tea Our 1st guest speaker Betsy Cooksey updated us on her efforts to bring services and supplies for children in Mongolia. 2nd Guest Speakers Sister Lawrence Mary and Susan Kelly for LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR - In 1869, the Little Sisters of the Poor opened their home for Baltimore's needy elderly on Valley Street in Baltimore City. We welcomed and introduced new members. The Jewelry Committee held a special sale prior to and after the meeting. Community Health & Services collected donations for Chrysalis house.
